***THIS EMAIL WAS SENT TO FAMILIES WHO CHOSE "YES" TO PERFORMING.
DISREGARD THIS POST IF YOU ARE NOT.***
If you are receiving this email, you have selected to perform in the January dance concert, Holiday Festivus. Attached is a copy of the permission form that you submitted so that you have it for reference. Dance directors will be emailing you soon with specific information pertaining to your individual class(es).
One change is to the sizing week that was supposed to occur last week. Due to a delay in costumes, we had to push back the dates for sizing. We should be receiving costumes soon and will be sizing and measuring students in the next few weeks.
Please note in the attached form the attendance policy for class/rehearsals/shows. Teachers will be enforcing this policy. Also remember that all fees are nonrefundable.
Be sure to check if you are enrolled in multiple classes, the show tracks align for all your classes. Tracks can be found on your monthly statement in the class name, as well as on our class schedule online. If your tracks do not align, please email us as soon as possible as changes need to be made in the next few weeks.
Volunteer information will be sent out soon by dance directors and tickets are expected to go on sale mid-November.

It's that time again. This is the time of the year where we get many requests for public performances. Usually we only take the intermediate and advanced classes from the previous session to best represent our studio, and us being the hip hop genre, we are always the first out of the block to go to these performances because of the fact that hip hop can perform on any stage and on any venue (no need for wood floors, marley, etc.)
That being said, there is an event in October with the following information:
- Where: Kanoelani Elementary School
- When: Oct 18, 2014
- What: Craft Fair Event
- Time: 9am - 1pm (they will email us back with a more specific time)
- Length: 20 - 30 minutes
Once again, we are gonna throw back to ICONology and request these following numbers:
- Rhythm Nation
- Wind It Up
- Baby, Baby
Along with Roman's Revenge (Spotlight Piece) and a KreativGroovment performance (probably a freestyle performance)
THE STAGE CAN ONLY FIT 10-15 DANCERS, SO WITH SOME NUMBERS BEING ABOVE THE MAX NUMBER, WE ARE ONLY LOOKING FOR THAT AMOUNT. YOU ALL HAVE UNTIL OCTOBER 1ST OF NEXT WEEK TO RESPOND ACCORDINGLY TO THIS EMAIL (YES OR NO). Basically if only 11 respond by that time, we will take those 9 dancers from that number, so that we have time to reblock and practice in class.
Please reply to this email ASAP so that Ms Candace and I can plan accordingly. Also, please mention which dances you will be participating in as well (e.g. Erick Mijares - KreativGroovment Piece) Thank you and hope you can perform!! See you all in class this week.

Ultimately we would like to have parents that are willing to commit to all of the dates, but we know that you want to see your star perform so if you could team up with someone to switch off, that would be great! If you are unable to commit to all, please include a comment in the doodle link as to what show you are hoping to watch to see if there's another parent willing to make the trade.
