I know you are all running around like crazy trying to make the Holiday Season Bright. Just one small note about our fabulous PDD Jackets and Bags. I found out from the manufacturer that they have discontinued our Fabulous PDD Retro Jackets and only have a limited supply left. With that in mind I am doing a last call order for these items. See flyers attached for details.
On Saturday during our Dress/Tech Rehearsals students will be trying on their costumes for the first time. They may even be inspired to take photos in them:) If you are so inclined to take show portraits in costume please make an appointment here:
Malia Wee is from Hawaii where she received much of her ballet, jazz, hip hop, hula, tap, and contemporary instruction from Wendy Calio. She later studied modern under Victoria Finlayson in Santa Barbara, California. Due to her interdisciplinary training, she has had the opportunity to share the stage with everyone from the Backstreet Boys to Playhouse Disney’s Imagination Moves, from the Lit Moon Theatre Company to Ekklesia Contemporary Ballet. She currently dances with Hillsong NYC and also teaches at SB2W Citikidz, Graffiti Ministries, Dance for Change and Greenhouse Arts Center.
Chandler Louque started her dancing career at Jean Leigh Academy of Dance, spent much her time dedicated to the study of dance and quickly learned, that this was her passion in life. During her 17 years at Leigh Academy she studied ballet, tap, jazz and hip hop. At the age of 16, Chandler began teaching and choreographing her own classes in jazz and hip hop. Chandler was accepted to Art schools such as Joffrey Ballet, The Rock School of Ballet, and featured in Dance Spirit Magazine's Future Star Award in 2008. She has received scholarships from conventions around the country, and became one of LA Dance Magic's company assistants in 2008.

Just in case you may have missed this section in the permission form...Parent Participation Requirement: To get a better understanding of what it takes to put on a show PDD will require one adult family member to help out during rehearsals and shows. If you are not able to help you will have the option to donate Water, Juice, Nut Free Dry Snacks, Fruit and Vegetable Trays for students and faculty to enjoy during tech rehearsals and performances.
Parent Participation Positions include: Ushers, Box Office, Performer Check-In and Check Out, Security, Set-Up and Breakdown, Costume Care, Seamstress, Embellishments, as well as Health and Wellness Experts. For the safety of the students and to prevent congestion, parents will not be allowed backstage unless they are assigned a position that requires them to help out in that area. Positions will be split up into 4 hour shifts. An online sign up will be available shortly.
